Geography, Geology and Planning 

Minors in Geology

The department of Geography, Geology and Planning offers a minor in Geology for both the Bachelor of Science and the Bachelor of Arts degree.  Required courses for the minor are:
 
Geology Minor
Bachelor of Science
  • GLG 110 Principles of Geology (4 credits)   or  GLG 171 Environmental Geology (4 credits) plus GLG 172 Principles of Geology Lab (1 credit)
  • GLG 314 Historical Geology (5 credits)
  • GLG 360 Directed Field Trips (4 credits) or GLG 412 Field Geology of the Midcontinent Region (4 credits)
  • six additional hours of GLG courses numbered 318 or higher
Geology Minor
Bachelor of Arts
