The Department of Geography, Geology, and Planning at Missouri State University offers the following four scholarships for undergraduate students enrolled in the Missouri State Geology program:

D. Kent Smith Memorial Scholarship: $750/year. Declared Geology major at Missouri State; Junior or Senior standing.

Vince Kurtz Scholarship: $500/year. Declared Geology major at Missouri State; Sophomore or Junior standing.

Kenneth C. Thomson Memorial Scholarship: $500/year. Declared Geology major at Missouri State; Expressed and documented academic interest in caves and/or karst.

Fagerlin-Johnson-Moeglin Field Studies Scholarship: $250 to help defray costs for an Missouri State Geology major to attend an approved summer Field Geology course (plus a separate $250 to help defray costs for an Missouri State Geography major to attend an approved summer Field Geography course).
