Admission Requirements

The geography, geology and planning department at Missouri State accepts and encourages all students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in geography.

To begin course work in the field of geography, you initially need to be admitted to Missouri State. Before completing 75 credit hours, you must also be admitted to a degree program.

The Bachelor of Arts in Geography degree consists of 36 hours of course work. The Bachelor of Science in Geography degree consists of 38-44 hours of course work.
