Step two: Choose your certification area and declare your major

Through this certification, you will earn a Bachelor of Science in Geology degree. You will be qualified to teach Earth science.

Before completing 60 credit hours:

• Contact the Earth science education advisor. You'll discuss key details, develop your plan of study and choose your certification area.
• Contact the Academic Advising and Transfer Center to declare or change your major to geology.
