Biography
Dr. Iacobucci is Assistant Professor in the School of Earth, Environment, and Sustainability’s Community and Regional Planning program. His work focuses on transportation behavior, specifically how people perceive and interact with their travel options and how their attitudes and perceptions relate to their travel patterns. His core research interests revolve around attitude formation and change across groups of people, and how these processes relate to support for and/or opposition to sustainable transportation policies and interventions. In addition, Dr. Iacobucci conducts research about urban freight, its interaction with planning, and the safety and livability impacts of these interactions, particularly for vulnerable road users. His recent work in this area has focused on the changing landscape of transportation and the curb amid the expansion of e-commerce.
