Biography

My principal research areas are sustainable food systems, climate adaptation and resilience, and disaster management. I am primarily interested in the sustainability of agricultural systems, where I endeavor to analyze the impacts of environmental change on local to regional food security and examine the determinants and barriers in decision-making for agriculture. Simultaneously, I study multifaceted challenges of marginalization and inequality within climate adaptation and disaster management, seeking to unveil the systemic disparities that exacerbate vulnerabilities before, during, and after climate-induced hazards. My work further evaluates disaster preparedness, risk reduction, and recovery frameworks alongside broader adaptation strategies. My main goal is to produce action-oriented research outputs that will catalyze meaningful changes on operational fronts while advancing academic boundaries.
